Vieira, Olivia E. (Tavares) of Arlington, August 9th, 2012. Devoted wife of the late Manuel Vieira. She was the loving mother of Patricia Vieira, John Vieira and his wife Cathy, Debbie Currul and her husband Jim, Lisa Werschler and her husband Paul and the late Ann Marie and Christine Vieira. She was also the cherished grandmother of John Vieira Jr., Stephanie Kaznocha and her husband Clif, Amy and Andy Currul and Mary Werschler. Olivia grew up in East Cambridge with her siblings Emily, Mary and Frank Tavares, all of whom predeceased her. She and Manny married in 1948 and moved to Arlington in 1954, where they raised their family. Among Mom’s happiest times were the many large family gatherings we all enjoyed over the years. In her later years, her beloved grandchildren brought her great pride and joy. Olivia enjoyed traveling with her family and especially the years she spent at Wells Beach, Maine with family and friends. Funeral from the Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Mass. Ave., Arlington at 9 am Monday August 13th. Funeral Mass at St Camillus Church in Arlington at 10 am. Visiting hours Sunday August 12th from 4 to 8 pm. Interment at Cambridge Cemetery.
