Davis, Oma "Louise" of Arlington, died peacefully at home on October 31, 2013 at the age of 97. Louise was the beloved wife of the late Robert Davis; loving mother of Robert Davis and his wife Kim, of Waltham, Luana Preston and her husband Alan of Arlington. She was the sister of Charles Goldie of Scituate and the late Ruth Jackson of Stoughton. Louise delighted in sharing in the lives of her grandchildren, Molly Preston Hubner, Daniel and Suzanna Preston and her great-grandchildren, Ella and Jacob Hubner. Louise was born in Whitman MA and after graduation from the Chandler Secretarial School spent many fond years working at M.I.T.'s Radiation Laboratory. She served overseas during WWII as part of the Radiation Lab field operations. Louise settled in Arlington with her husband and children and generously gave her love, talents and spirit to her family and many friends (two and four-footed alike) over the years. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9th at 2 pm at the Calvary Methodist Church, 300 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in Louise's memory may be given to the Calvary Church or to the National Audubon Society, 225 Varick St., New York, NY 10014.
