Remembering Evelyn
The bee has regained its hive,
the bird its resting place for the night;
the still leaves slept upon their stem.
A sad, sweet silence enveloped the slumbering earth.

Only one voice, the distant voice of the village
church bell, rose and fell in the still air.
It said: "Remember the Dead!"
We will always remember and pray for dear Evelyn and Jimmy.
You are so loved,
Peggy
Jesus, I trust in Thee!
