Mr. Robert J. "Bobby" Pitko

PITKO, Robert J. "Bobby" Of Arlington, MA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2, 2012 at his sister's home in Concord, NH after a courageous battle with cancer. He graduated from Arlington High School and furthered his studies at Northeastern. He worked as a Night Club Manager at a Boston nightclub for many years. He leaves his sister Cindy Domenici and her husband Steve of Concord, NH; his brother David Pitko of Sagamore Beach, MA; his nephew Bryan Pitko and his wife Kristel; a nephew Nicholas Domenici and his fiancee Katie O'Reilly; his niece Kimberly Pitko and her partner Ian Smith; niece Jaye-Leigh McCormack and her husband Joseph; great nephew Caden William McCormack; his partner in life Michael McClure and his special pets Kwansa and Nina. Robert was predeceased by his father John L. Pitko, his mother Beverly Jane (Parks) Pitko and his brother William Pitko. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Rogers and Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington, MA. Friends may call from 10am - 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Arlington, MA. Robert's wish is to have memorial donations in his memory made to the Yawkey Club of Roxbury, 115 Warren Street, Roxbury, MA 02119. One of his greatest joys was being able to give a special Christmas to all the kids at the Yawkey Club.
