Helen Barbara Whalen

Whalen, Helen B. (Crowley) of Arlington, June 6th.  Devoted wife of William W. Whalen Sr. for 69 years.  Loving mother of William W. Whalen Jr. and his wife Kathleen Teehan and the late Nancy Whalen and Elaine Hostetter.  Cherished grandmother of William C. Hostetter.  Beloved great-grandmother of Juliana, Grace, Theodore and William Hostetter.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.  Visiting hours at the Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Massachusetts Ave., Arlington on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm.  Helen worked at the Hardy School and Arlington High School for over 32 years.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Helen's memory to the St. Francis House, 39 Boylston St., Boston, MA 02116.
