Devoted husband of Mary E. Doherty (Preston). Loving father of Keith Doherty, Jamie Giordano and her husband Michael, Kim Cerone and her husband David, Lisa Kennedy and her husband Steven, Daniel Doherty, Cheryl Guerette and her husband Thomas. Also survived by his sister Ann Gilmartin, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 796 Boston Road, in Billerica on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10:00 am.
Due to Covid – 19 and Massachusetts Tracing Guidelines, the funeral home is limited to 35 people inside the funeral home and a mask must be worn at all times. The funeral home & the family are asking those who plan to attend to please come in, pay your condolence’s and then exit to make it possible for others to do the same.
Due to Covid - 19, Massachusetts Tracing Guidelines and the Guidelines of the Archdiocese of Boston, seating is limited to 140 people in the church.
The church will not be open for people to enter until 15 minutes prior to the funeral mass.
