Antonio “Tony” LoRusso of Somerville passed away on October 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 85.
He was the devoted husband of 65 years to Michelina (Pastore) LoRusso, loving father of Carmela D’Amico and her husband Steve, Josie Schizas and her husband John, and Phillip LoRusso.
Antonio will be greatly missed by his cherished grandchildren Julie LoRusso, Anthony D’Amico, Olivia D’Amico, Emma LoRusso, Amelia Schizas, and Charlie Schizas.
He was also the beloved brother of Guissippina Mastandrea, Pietro LoRusso, and Filomena Puopolo. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Visiting hours at the Rogers & Hutchins Funeral Home, 292 Massachusetts Avenue in Arlington on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
His Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Church, 399 Medford Street in Somerville on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 10:00 am.
Entombment will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
Those wishing to travel in procession to the church and the cemetery are asked to please meet at the funeral home in Arlington on Monday morning at 8:45 am.
